This National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) short report looks at trends in illicit drug use, heavy alcohol use, substance use disorder (SUD) among persons aged 18 to 64 who are employed full time. The report includes compares rates of substance use and SUD across the industry in which employees work. It also includes comparisons of estimates within each industy from the combined 2008 to 2012 NSDUHs with the combined 2003 to 2007 NSDUHs.
