2 Of the 3,452 facilities reporting that residential (non-hospital) services were offered, 135 facilities (4.0 percent) whose client counts were reported by another facility were not asked to respond to this question. Of the remaining 3,317 facilities,123 facilities (3.6 percent) reported for themselves and other facilities. The rest, 3,194 facilities reported 102,827 designated beds. However, the utilization rate and designated beds per facility are based on the 3,046 facilities that reported both designated beds and clients. Of the 3,194 facilities that reported designated beds, 42 facilities were excluded from the utilization rate tabulations because they did not respond to this question, and 106 facilities were excluded because the number of designated beds was reported as zero.
3 Of the 748 facilities reporting that hospital inpatient services were offered, 13 facilities (1.7 percent) whose client counts were reported by another facility were not asked to respond to this question, and 9 facilities (1.2 percent) reported for themselves and other facilities. The remaining 726 facilities reported 12,494 designated beds. However, the utilization rate and designated beds per facility are based on the 490 facilities that reported both designated beds and clients. Of the 726 facilities that reported designated beds, 53 facilities were excluded from the utilization rate tabulations because they did not respond to this question, and 183 facilities were excluded because the number of designated beds was reported as zero.
